What customers say?

“ Dim Sum has been my absolute favorite food for the past 2 years so I’ve tried several places and this is my new favorite. I literally went back the same day 2 hours later. I recommend the shrimp har gow (my favorite) & if you like sweet- the French Cha Siu Bao (sweet bread with the bbq pork inside). Great prices, good for a quick bite & also has a cute little outdoor seating area. ”

“ I came here for the first time today and I left 100% satisfied. Great dumplings and baos, I loved the dessert, the sesame balls were OUTSTANDING (with both red beans paste and lotus paste). Prices are good too and the portions are generous. I’ll definitely be back ”

“ This has become one of my favourite restaurants on the West Side. The setup is unpretentious, you order at the kiosk and the order is usually ready within 5-10 minutes. I have been getting the garlic noodles and Taiwanese cabbage, and the food is always great, at equally great prices. Service is consistently warm, the store is clean and well-maintained. The value here is truly incredible. Plenty of vegetarian options too. Would highly recommend. ”

“ This is not a fancy restaurant- very casual outdoor dining with some BOMB dimsum! I highly recommend if you’re looking for something quick and delicious. Har Gow is my favorite - probably the biggest I’ve ever seen. Each piece has about 2 pcs shrimp ”

“ How do you pronounce this business? 9LB? iXlb? Is it latin? Aztec? Taiwaztec? I don’t know but I love it. Just visited this restaurant for the first time and left totally blown away. I ordered the Taiwanese cabbage, the vegetarian baos, and the steamed seafood pearls, and omg the food is so fresh. The steamed seafood pearls are the best: juicy and bouncy. The taste is beyond. The cabbage and the baos need a little dressing up with the sauce, but overall super fresh and healthy. I ordered to go and Jenny at the front was really nice in explaining the menu to me. Will definitely come back to try the fried dumplings and different baos. A++ recommend. One note: they do use a lot of plastic. I’m aware that a lot of the food is steamed and comes out super hot. Maybe there’s a different type of serving set they could phase to in the future that is less harmful for the environment. ”

“ For $6.95 per dish this place goes crazy. We liked the baked buns and the noodle soup with ground pork the best. Pineapple dessert buns also good. ”

“ We originally came here on Lunar New Year Day and this is a return visit. I love steamed dim sum and the Har Gow (prawn dumpling) here is pretty good. The Prawn and Seafood dumplings were coated in chili flakes and surprisingly tasty. The Nai Wong Bao (egg custard buns) is smooth and fragrant. My friend loves the Char Siew Bao (roast pork buns), which had a pillowy, elastic consistency. There's really no service here beyond handing us the food. Ordering is done via the self-order kiosk. Food is served in takeaway containers because the place mostly caters for take away. There are a few seats in the open courtyard next to the footpath but both times we were exposed to the elements. While the business model is a world away from Hong Kong, the dim sum takes the tastebuds on a quick trip back home. ”

“ The food is so good! It was made quickly, which makes it the perfect lunch spot. Everyone who works there is so friendly. This kind of customer service is so rare nowadays. The shrimp wontons are the best!! ”
